2 childhood friends, Nicole and Kayne started Lu Ding Ji since it first opened in August 2017 at Oxley Towers. Nicole does the backend management while Kayne is in-charge of the kitchen operations. A self-taught chef who started cooking at 16, Kayne often tries out new recipes in his free time. To make the dishes interesting, he takes inspiration from Taiwanese food and experiments to give it a familiar, local taste. With that, Lu Ding Ji was born. Today, Kayne has proven success with his recreated dishes such as the Crispy Chawanmushi and the XL Fried Chicken.
